Dumb Cooking : Feeding Mi Familia

November ni memang pack sikit. Dah bertimbun balik gambar dalam draf. Uwaaaaa.......baru nak selesai satu load dah bartambah balik. Blogging ni kalau dah mula stop,,,,,,memang lama-lah nak dapat rhythm menulis balik. Hahhhhhhh........bulan ni dapat job dengan MAHA (Kementerian Pertanian & Industri Asas Tani). They'll be hosting MAHA 2010. Ajar koir laa , apa lagi. We've got 12 sessions with them before show day on November 27th. Mana nak counter class vocal kat studio lagi. Bulan ni jugak Yna requested nak buat an early birthday gathering with few of her girlfriends & also I've got to get everything ready for her surprise birthday getaway end of November........


Busy ya busy lah.....makan mesti donk....hahaha!



Making Mee Goreng......entah laa meegor apa.....tapi kali ni i guna tomato sos ;-)


Macam biasa.....I buat some scrambled eggs dulu.....set aside. This way , dapat laa lumps of eggs in the fried mee kalau pecah-kan telur at the last minute in the wok,,,,,,nanti telur tu dah bercampur dengan mee....tak syok.


Firstly I tumiskan chopped garlic & some chili paste......then in goes some fish balls & slices of fish cakes.Justify Full


In goes all the sauces,,,,,dark soy sauce - light soy sauce - kicap manis ABC & tomato sauce.....then terus masuk-kan mee - bak choy & taugeh *half portion*......mix well.


Ni sebenarnya kesukaan I. Dari I kecik lagi I suka makan susu pekat. I masih ingat lagi masa zaman sekolah rendah I selalu beli susu pekat Milkmaid aka Susu Cap Junjung. It was sold in small Milkmaid tubes kat kantin sekolah back then. It was sold everywhere dulu. Old habits die hard......so yes,,,,susu pekat is one of my favourite things to consume. Yna pun dengan sendirinya develop kesukaan yang sama.........while waiting for my meegor,,,,,,she indulged herself with couple of spoon fulls of susu pekat.


Back to my meegor,,,,,,bila mee dah ready.......masuk-kan scrambled eggs & more taugeh.


Hmmm....dalam pinggan oren ni , MP punya laa....dia memang hantu mee.....



Teringin nak makan Lemak Nangka , I've never cook nangka before in my life. Ni first attempt. I beli nangka muda yang dah dipotong keping-keping kat Giant BA ni. Dalam satu paket ada 3 keping. Terlebih cukup untuk I makan sorang. MP tak makan. Then I terpikir pulak,,,,,kalau I buat Lemak Nangka lat-lat je.....kena laa I masak another dish yang berkuah for MP, sebab kalau tak.......dia tak makan nasi pulak kalau tak berkuah. Kang marah-marah , I tak nak. Hmmmmmmm......what to do now coz I don't want to double cook. Lastly I decided to add some daging tetel to the Lemak Nangka. That way MP can eat the meat.......OK problem solved ;-) Took out the beef from freezer to microwave....on high for 5 minutes.....it came out half cooked. Great. Tinggal hiris je.


My way.....my way....my way.....All in a pot at one go.....hehehe! Seriously , need not worry sebab semua bahan-bahan tu will eventually masak bila kena haba panas. Tak mati , don't worry. Hehehe. In goes everything , sekotak santan - air - serai - bawang merah - serbuk kunyit *kalau rajin tumbuk laa kunyit hidup* - chili paste & chili padi *I belah 2 je sebab kalau tumbuk memang MP tak boleh makan* & daging.....heat on. Bring it to boil. Iye betul....tak percaya ke? Hehehe.....


In goes some daun kunyit.......some salt & sugar at this point.


Then in goes my nangka rebus......let it simmer for about 5 minutes or so......heat off.


OK what.....hahaha!


Next am cooking Bak Choy with chicken liver & gizzards.


Tumis chopped garlic & ginger with a bit of cooking oil. Then add chicken liver & gizzards , do add a little bit of water......


I letak some oyster sauce to it & goreng lagi , kasi air kering sikit & all the organs-organs betul-betul masak.


Then only add bak choy & lid on for few minutes.


Give it a quick stir......that's it.


Dah kelat mata ni.....nak tidur dulu.

  1. I love to see something cooking in here. Definitely not dumb la Kak Rima. You should change the label to smart cooking. ;D
