Dumb Cooking : Nasi Goreng Cina & Gong Xi Fa Cai Everyone!

Kong Hei! Kong Hei!.......

Woke up this morning terus pergi dapur buat breakfast & lunch. Petang nanti Yna ada jemputan birthday party classmate dia kat Pizza Hut Wangsa Maju. MP meme tok leh nok gi laa bab piza piza ni......


Hmmmmm........since today's Chinese New Year , am gonna prepare one of my favourite kueh. I'm deep frying Kuih Bakul aka Nian Gao with eggs.


Just love the smell of lotus leaf that's wrapping the kueh. First , thinly sliced the kueh. Heat up some cooking oil......


Beat couple of eggs and dip the kueh into the egg mixture.


Deep fry the kueh in hot cooking oil for 2-3 minutes. Angkat elok-elok coz at this point the fried kueh bakul will be extremely hot & sticky.


Oh my.........simply sweet & yummy with a cuppa tea.



Some fruits at home.......grapes & small tangerine oranges.....just to get the CNY atmosphere flowing at home.



Making Chinese Fried Rice for lunch today. Semalam dah tapau nasi putih , simpan dalam fridge. Malas nak masak-masak nasi.


Mula-mula I gaulkan nasi sejuk giler I tu dengan oyster sauce & dashes of fish sauce. Tumis lots of bawang putih.......


In goes prawns - shiitake mushrooms - fish balls........hari tu nampak fish ball ikan parang with vegetables kat Giant BA.....try lah.


Tutup kuali kejap.........saja nak insert muka jugak tu....hehehe!


Bila semua rencah dah masak , masuk-kan nasi & then mix well. For my nasi goreng cina , I sprinkled white pepper to my nasgor & then add eggs to rice mixture. Last but not least , in goes some chopped parsley and mix 'em well.


Nasi Goreng Cina for lunch on Tahun Baru Cina.

    nian gao tu potong slices, then kukus...
    pastu celup dgn kelapa..
